“Hudson’s Big Grill Giveaway*” Multi-Draw (“The Contest”)
Official Rules and Regulations (“The Rules”)
1. Each participant (“Entrant”) must be over the age of 18 and a citizen of Ontario, Canada to be eligible for the Contest.
2. The winners will be selected at random in the form of a draw. In order to qualify, each selected Entrant must also first correctly answer a time limited, mathematical, skill testing question on their official entry ballot and be eligible to win according to the Rules. If any selected Entrant does not answer the skill testing question correctly, another selected Entrant will be chosen by random draw. The next selected Entrant will be asked the same question and so on until a correct answer is received. All decisions by The Dealerships as to the accuracy of the answer are final and binding.
3. The Contest will award two (2) prizes to one (1) drawn winning recipient. There will be no substitutions or cash substitution.
4. Eligibility: Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC will award one prize of a Broil King Baron S590 Pro BBQ (prize a.) for the entrants for the months of April and May 2026. Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC will award one prize of a $1,000 butcher shop voucher for McIntosh Farms in Listowel, Ontario (prize b.) for the entrants for the month of April and May 2026. An eligible service customer with a legitimate service work order written, completed, and paid for within an eligible contest month from Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC will receive the following:
1. Backyard Beginner ($200+ spend – Cap of $399): 1 draw ballot
2. Weekend Griller ($400+ spend - Cap of $599): 2 draw ballots
3. Grill Master ($600+ spend – Cap of $799): 3 draw ballots
4. Pitt Boss ($800+ spend – No cap): 4 draw ballots
5. BBQ Legend (purchase a set of 4 new tires – premounts also eligible): 5 draw ballots
5. Exclusions: This contest excludes automotive wholesale businesses / dealers. Also excludes Securi-Clear free stone chip repair (Go Glass and Accessories), and free stone chip repair from Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC and Hudson’s Listowel Kia performed at Go Glass Listowel. Employees of The Dealerships and any family members living in the same household are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
6. There will be one (1) draw at the end of the contest period. Draw to take place on June 3rd, 2026 at 1000 Wallace Ave. N, Listowel, ON. Ballot must qualify. Winners will be notified by a dealership representative by phone and/or e-mail immediately following the draw.
7. No Purchase Necessary. To obtain one (1) Entry in the Contest without making an Eligible Purchase, an individual must complete a sufficient vehicle model test drive and complete a 500 word essay reviewing a designated vehicle model pertaining to the respective dealership. The test drive must be acknowledged by a sales manager. The subject matter of the essay will be a review of: The All-New 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV. Fill out your first name, last name, telephone number, complete mailing address (including postal code), age and original signature on the Review (no virtual or photocopies accepted) and mail it (in an envelope with sufficient postage) to: Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC, 1000 Wallace Ave. N. Listowel, Ontario N4W 1M5. Upon receipt of your Review in accordance with these rules, you will receive one (1) entry ballot (“Entry”) in the Contest. To be valid, your Review must be received separately in an envelope bearing sufficient postage, and be post-marked during the Contest Period and received by no later than May 31, 2026.
All test drives must be completed between April 1, 2026 and May 31, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. (“Contest Period”). One (1) no-purchase entry per person is eligible for the contest period.
8. The prizes are subject to applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and the contest is void where prohibited by law.
9. If at any time any taxes, surcharges, fees or levies are imposed on any Contest winnings, the Contest winners shall be totally responsible for payment of any such taxes, surcharges, fees or levies and shall not hold The Dealerships liable for payment of such.
10. The Dealerships reserve the right to administer the Rules of the draw as well as the right to suspend the Contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
11. By participating in this Contest, each Entrant agree to adhere:
(a) to be bound by these Rules; and
(b) that all decisions of Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc are final and binding.
12. By entering this Contest, Entrants agree that Larry Hudson Chevrolet Buick GMC, and each of their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (the “Released Parties”) do not make any representation or warranty, or assume any liability.
Each Entrant and his/her representatives, heirs, next of kin or assignees (“Eligible Entrant’s Representatives”) hereby releases and holds Released Parties harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the Eligible Entrant, Eligible Entrant’s Representatives or any other person, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Contest or any breach of the Rules.
None of the Released Parties assumes any liability for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of Entries, the selection of winners, or for any printing or other errors in any Contest materials.
The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, tampering, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or authorized access to, or alteration of Entries.
The Eligible Entrant and Eligible Entrant’s Representatives agree to fully indemnify the Dealership from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, without limitation.
13. By entering the Contest, Eligible Entrants expressly consent to the Dealerships storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with their Entry only for the purpose of administering the Contest.
